During the dark, cold months, cozy up to the glowing fireplace, and during the long, lazy days of summer, relax on the sunny terrace deck. The Sawtooth Club offers casual fine dining matched with a notable wine list, plus a terrific selection of local and international microbrews. This is the place to go for sizzling steaks, chops and ribs, along with grilled seafood, free-range chicken, and more. The extensive menu opens with appetizers and salads ranging from sourdough bruschetta topped with chopped Roma tomatoes, garlic, basil and feta cheese to house-smoked salmon and artichoke dip paired with crusty sourdough bread. After a day on the slopes we enjoy any of the hearty entrées, including the thick Pacific Rim-style salmon steak marinated in a Asian-inspired mixture of soy, ginger, sesame oil and Chinese five-spice, then baked to tender flakiness, or wood-grilled breast of duck bathed in a fruity blackberry-port wine sauce. Those who like lamb will be seduced by tender rack of spring lamb; first marinated in olive oil, rosemary, garlic, soy and Merlot, it's grilled over a live, natural mesquite fire. All-American comfort food such as cheeseburgers and a grilled chicken sandwich offer something for any size appetite.
