Clarks Fish Camp & Seafood Description:
What was once a bait and tackle shop is now an ode to exotic fare: ostrich, kangaroo, antelope, buffalo, venison, rabbit, quail and gator tails are some of the unusual finds on the full-service menu. If you aren't accustomed to such tastes, numerous seafood dishes are available, prepared either char-broiled or fried and there's prime rib. A bottomless basket of complimentary hush puppies arrives piping hot upon seating and all entrées come with two side choices of soup, salad, coleslaw, grits, green beans or french fries. Alas, if you can't find what you're looking for on the menu, there's probably a stuffed version around somewhere---this restaurant also pays tribute to the animal artistry of taxidermy.
