The elegant, Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant Guido da Costigliole is located within two rooms of its magnificently-preserved barrel-vaulted cellar. Guido's restaurant, moved here from its original home not far away in the village of Costigliole in Asti province, was voted one of Wine Spectator magazine's best 10 restaurants in the world. It continues to offer many traditional Piedmontese dishes as well as some in-house creations based on truffles, cardi di Nizza (cardoons of Nizza Monferrato) and other unique products of the Piedmont region.
