Le Due Lanterne Description:
Situated on the large main square in the center of town, the classically-furnished Due Lanterne has a bright, modern ambience. It serves traditional Piedmont cuisine, such as carne cruda (diced raw steak with olive oil and lemon), vegetable flan with fonduta, agnolotti del plin (small meat-filled ravioli), stracotto di manzo alla Barbera (over-cooked beef in Barbera) and bonet al cioccolato (firm chocolate cream). For those unsure what to order, or wanting to try as many dishes as possible, a menù degustazione (tasting menu) is available. The extensive wine list includes many local Barberas as well as other Piedmontese wines. The Due Lanterne is listed by the Italian Slow Food Association.
Ample free parking is available in the public square opposite the restaurant.
