Cucina Cucina Italian Cafe Description:
The last remaining Cucina! Cucina!, a Puget Sound chain of upscale Italian restaurants, makes you feel like a kid again dining under the bicycles and other whimsical decorative objects in this colorful, cacophonous Italian café. You may even enjoy playing with the crayons on your butcher paper-covered table. (Obviously, it's a good place to dine with small people.) Enjoy the rich pastas, house specialties like veal Marsala and oil-and-herb-basted Coho salmon, salads, thin-crusted pizzas, and more. The fare is dependably decent and at times innovative. Service can be youthful and inexperienced, but it's generally friendly. The wine list is mediocre, but that doesn't deter us.
