Rosebud of Highland Park Description:
Another bloom in the ever-budding Rosebud family of restaurants, this is classic Italian all the way. Sometimes, that's a good thing. Portions are generous but, fortunately, not to the point of extravagance. The restaurant seats many in an elegant-enough space with a floor-to-ceiling wine rack dividing the room. We would never miss a chance to enjoy the fried calamari, eggplant rotolo or the baked cavatelli. Then again, Rosebud practically invented chicken Vesuvio, so that's another favorite. The outdoor porch is the place to be on a cool summer's eve.
