Little Bigs Description:
Bryan Caswell and Bill Floyd (Reef) are behind this burger barn on Montrose Boulevard. The menu is pretty straightforward, offering just four kinds of sliders: fresh ground beef, hand-breaded chicken, Carolina-style pulled pork and a mushroom and cheese variety---all get a kick from their hot yeast buns. For the beef burger in particular, the basic mustard and mayo aren't needed. The grilled patties, with a touch of pink for juiciness, are just fine with their dab of caramelized onions on top. Paired with seasoned hand-cut fries, Little Bigs make a tasty meal. Thick shakes and Arnold Palmers (iced tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade) help wash it all down, as do beers and alcoholic frozen drinks such as The Dude, a white Russian milkshake, and The Big Pink, a sangría slushy.
