This longtime local hangout is famous for its cocoa puffs, cream puffs filled with cocoa pudding; and chantilly cake, a chocolate sponge cake slathered with a buttery frosting sprinkled with macadamia nut pieces. That's just the beginning of the good cakes, pies and pastries. Most people get their baked goods to go, but there's a classic Formica counter, so you can sit on your swivel chair and enjoy your goodies there, too. This is the place to go at 2 a.m. to see people ending up a night on the town with a stack of the bakery's pancakes (they also sell the batter). Burgers are served, too.
