Kincaid's Fish, Chop & Steakhouse Description:
If you're looking for good, simply prepared fresh fish, you could do a lot worse than Kincaid's. Located in the Ward Warehouse, Kincaid's is a handsome restaurant with restrained island-influenced décor. It's also quite popular, so be sure to make reservations unless you are prepared for up to an hour's wait. However, it's always a party at the bar, and you can get appetizers---try the hot crab dip. At the tables, the selection of fresh fish changes daily, depending on what's available at the market. Kincaid's does an especially good job with the ginger orange glazed duck and Hawaiian baby-back ribs, and there are better-than-decent roasted sea scallops. Make sure to order the burnt cream for dessert. The wine list is limited, with an accent on affordable California wines.
