Vietnamese food; set in a large open air roofed garden packed with families, young people and businessmen, with an increasing number of foreigners. Cheap food.
It is a large place, probably some 50m by 80m, seating hundreds of patrons at any one time in a garden setting, but under a high roof, ideal therefore for all weather. Any night of the week it hums with custom and atmosphere. One flaw is that it shuts early, with kitchen finishing at about 10 p.m. However, if you have a party going they will happily let you continue till you finish eating and drinking your fill.
