This upscale eatery, in the fairytale setting of a classic Italian villa on a semi-Venetian canal, has the reputation of being the best restaurant within the vast Hilton Waikoloa Village property. For sure, we love the sunset views on the open-air terrace, as well as the four dining rooms that create romantic privacy. An Italian violin player may just serenade you, and a hula dancer in a canoe might float by. The food, from the antipasti to the dolci (dessert), is not your average Italian pizza either. Far from it. We highly recommend the pan-seared scallops with saffron sauce or the veal scaloppine with sautéed mushrooms in asparagus cream, and we are passionate about the tiramisu. The wine list is beautiful, with about twenty wines by the glass. Prices are on the high side, so come prepared to pay for all this romance.
