Under The Eagle Description:
This friendly, unpretentious place, done up with artifacts from the old country, sports a menu of solid Polish fare with such a gentle price structure it seems out of another era. The staff dons embroidered peasant dress when serving pierogi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and sauerkraut. The soups are especially notable, from the brilliant pink borscht and hearty duck to the delicate sorrel of spring. Tables are covered in vinyl and napkins are paper, but the food is the real thing.
