Blue Water Grill Description:
A big, cozy, stone fireplace warms visitors to the Blue Water Grill in the chilly months of late autumn, winter and spring, while floor-to-ceiling plate glass windows take in views of the restaurant's terraced gardens and adjoining Versluis Lake. In the summer, you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the views up close. This northern Grand Rapids restaurant lacks nothing in the way of atmosphere, and its menu is just as satisfying. Enjoy lunch dishes like blackened mahi mahi tacos with avocado and cilantro aïoli, or Asian chicken salad with peanut-ginger vinaigrette. At dinnertime, wood-fired pizzas and sandwiches share menu space with rotisserie chicken with snow peas and mushrooms and a mixed grill with cherry demi-glace. The wine list features selections from around the world, but it also includes the opportunity to sample a nice selection of northern Michigan's nicest varietals.
