Western Cafe Description:
The Western Cafe offers an American and a Chinese Menu. They also offer a nightly Chinese Buffet. They also offer fresh, homemade pie and hard ice cream for dessert. They offer daily specials for all three meals. Thursday night is INDIAN TACO night, a must-try for anyone! Very reasonable prices and generous portions.
This cafe was the old "truck stop" and is referred to that quite often. Plenty of parking for any semis, campers, or horsetrailers. They offer booth and table seating in the front(smoking) area. The non-smoking area is set up with table seating. This area can also be reserved for parties and there is a partitian that can be closed if needed (The local Kiwanis and Lions Club hold their monthly meetings at this cafe).
The cafe has a beautiful western-themed mural painted on two walls. The mural is of the Sandhills, complete with all of the wildlife you can encounter while visiting Western Nebraska. The other walls have various Chinese decorations throughout.
