Cab's Wine Bar Bistro Description:
The entrance is off an alley behind the restaurant (which means that the front of the restaurant, which is the kitchen, is on North Avenue). The setting is casual-chic, and the patrons know where to go to be seen (at least if they don't want to hit downtown). The seasonal menu changes fairly often---but we can honestly say that just about everything we have tried here has been pleasing enough. Typical selections include an appetizer of steamed mussels in a Cognac-and-cilantro cream sauce and an entrée of absinthe-glazed rack of lamb with macadamia-nut couscous.
