Noodle Description:
Koreans of Chinese descent, siblings Lili, Lina and Lenny Shou have taken the concept of the pho (noodle) house to stylish heights. The menu casts a wide net around the Asian culinary world, including Vietnamese dishes. Crisp curry beef roll---ground beef and fresh vegetables---is a fine starter, and plenty for two to share. Noodle bowls and noodle soups of generous portions---also enough to share---make up the main courses. The vegetable noodle soup brings bright, crisp vegetables carefully cooked in vegetable broth. Noodles may be ordered vegetarian, or for a few dollars more add tofu, beef, chicken or shrimp. Thai influences appear in such dishes as the green curry chicken, with vegetables and pieces of chicken. Tasty brown rice may be specified. Unlike the other locations which serve continuously from opening to closing, this one, which has an outdoor garden, closes after lunch at 3 p.m. and reopens for dinner at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, then operates continuously on Saturday.
