Jones Barbeque Outpost #1 Description:
When Jennifer Wise bought this simple outpost---literally---of barbecue, she enclosed the open-air patio to create a simple dining spot. Wise serves as pitmaster and chief cook for her little establishment. We like both the chopped pork sandwich and the rib sandwich, both exhibiting the pink smoke ring that certifies the meats were cooked over wood. You may also opt to savor the chicken barbecue, smoked wings, ribs and hot dogs, and beef barbecue is occasionally available. Weekday dinner service ends early, at 6 p.m., while Saturday service ends at 3 p.m.
