Even if the repertoire here is classic and shows a penchant for "rich" ingredients (truffles, lobster, caviar), everything is lightly interpreted and nicely done. This rustic inn seems immune to passing fashions, and the well-heeled crowd that frequents its comfortable dining room is treated to a view of pretty arbored gardens while dining and enjoying wines. Highly professional service. Of course all of this has a price, but the heavenly set menus help diners keep their checks down to earth.
