Au Vieux Moulin Description:
This old mill at the foot of a cliff, with views of the Beune River from its pretty terrace, has charm to spare. The sober modern décor of the dining room is not unpleasant, but the real enjoyment is provided by what is on your plate. Georges Soulié's interesting cuisine is dominated by clever flavor associations, but remains influenced by his region. Incredibly large selection à la carte--the fixed-price menus are rather skimpy in comparison. Small, well-diversified cellar with emphasis on Cahors and Bergeracs at reasonable prices.
