The name says it all: country and gourmandism. This superb site, located just a few minutes from downtown Biarritz, offers a breathtaking view of the Pyrénées in an atmosphere of country-style simplicity of the most pleasant type. There's only one "formula": you choose from among eight hors d'oeuvres, eight main dishes, and eight desserts. You might choose from chilled vegetable gazpacho with grilled shrimp and confites tomatoes, or chilled artichokes stuffed in Provençal manner and served with langoustines and bacon bits, or a cod steak roasted in parsley-threaded breadcrumbs.
