Sapristi Bistro and Wine Bar Description:
Sapristi is a 45 seat bistro serving an eclectic blend of classic and contemporary world cuisine. Menu changes frequently.
Sapristi is known for it's mussels, prepared six ways, and Belgian frites(fries). Entrees include roasted duck, pastas, fresh fish, beef, etc. Tapas, salads, soups, a variety of small plates, and desserts are also available.
Sapristi proudly serves over 40 wines by the glass or bottle. Four specialty draft beers and more by the bottle.
Used to be the City Park Cafe.
This quintessential neighborhood restaurant also happens to be one of the best places anywhere in town for a memorable dinner and a topnotch brunch. Owner-chef Carlos Cavazos offers a different variety of mussels daily, served with a side of frites, and his delectable little pizzas, chile-rich posole, tapas and cheese plates can be paired with any of 50 boutique wines, served by the glass. Sunday brunch is a two-course affair, with roasted duck eggs topped with poached eggs and German apple pancakes among the unexpected pleasures. The intimate bistro setting adorned with bold work by local photographers is well-suited to couples and close friends.
