The Reata Fort Worth Description:
The Reata moved to Sundance Square from its former location on the 35th floor of the Bank One building after a tornado hit in 2000.
After nearly a dozen years in business, this Sundance Square destination for revved-up cowboys and businessmen remains ever-popular. The cilantro-jalapeƱo soup, bacon-wrapped shrimp with onion jam and beef tenderloin tamales stay at the top of the list of favorite starters, while blackened Buffalo rib-eye with cook's butter and the carne asada topped with Reata's cheese enchiladas are also notable. The rancho deluxe setting offers special points of interest, such as original posters from the movie "Giant," from which the restaurant's name was borrowed. In nice weather, a drink on the rooftop bar is a treat.
