The John Milton Clarke House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, provides a stately background for the restaurant opened by siblings Tony and Jill Cosentino, who named it in honor of their late mother. While Jill runs the dining room, Tony takes charge in the kitchen, employing topnotch ingredients to turn out a creative, eclectic menu that reflects the American melting pot in such specialties as Mediterranean lamb loaf, beef tenderloin medallions mole and tequila lime roasted half chicken. Many dishes include touches of the Southwestern vernacular. The extensive wine list includes choices from France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, California, Washington and Oregon.
