Cleonice Mediterranean Bistro Description:
Order little plates of tapas and meze with a cocktail at the 32-foot bar or do the same at a table, then move on to more substantial fare. A salad of broad beans, spring onions and garlic shoots comes with a locally made feta cheese, or try the house-smoked bluefish in flaky chunks. A Kasseri cheese fondue with Spanish chorizo adds spice to a mild cheese. Entrées may include a lamb ragoût with flageolet beans; a paella with native shellfish, chicken and chorizo; or a 16-ounce rib-eye steak. Cleonice has its own farm so you will enjoy the fresh tastes of Maine.
