Grinds Cafe and Espresso Description:
This Westside eatery aims hard to please, and it generally does a good job. The fresh-baked breads and pastries make waking up early easy, as does the full line of cappuccino drinks, served hot and cold. A casual menu is served all day, giving diners a choice of sandwiches, salads, omelets, burgers and pizza. The Big Chill, an espresso ice cream smoothie, refreshes weary motorists making the scenic drive to Waimea Canyon. Live music and an "open mic" on weekends. Eat outside on the lanai or have your food wrapped up as picnic fixings.
