A French flag displayed prominently at the entrance alongside a large American flag and a rooster adorning the front window with its mock picket fence gives a provincial feel. The menu is filled with traditional French bistro and brasserie classics. Try the ris de veau aux pommes et Calvados: sautéed sweetbreads with apples and Calvados. For a satisfying standard, don't miss the roasted half-boned crisp duck a l'orange served with basmati rice and vegetables. For dessert, the poire belle Hélène, a lovely glazed poached pear, and the Bistro apple tart provide a sweet and tart ending.
