The duck mole, on offer either by special request or on certain days of the week, forms the basis for the sturdy tacos that make this place such a draw. We also recommend the burrito chorizo, a blend of spicy sausage with crispy pork. Other options include not only a variety of tacos with the same filling options, but also tortas (sandwiches filled with jamón, Milanesa pollo, carne asada, and pollo a la plancha pechuga), assorted tostadas and quesadillas. This run-down does not include the weekend specials of pozole or menudo, both robust selections guaranteed to overstuff you. Taquería Distrito Federal also serves a Mexican-style breakfast every morning, including huevos rancheros, and other special egg dishes. Desserts are limited to a creamy flan, served in small plastic cups, making take-out simpler.
