With more than 50 years in business, this establishment is still run by members of the founding Blancke family. The big riverside eatery celebrated its anniversary by redecorating, but made sure to leave the vibe intact. Wooden floors and a handsome inlaid wood surface atop the long bar helped spruced the place up. In the summer, as many arrive by boat as by car for the first-rate perch, pickerel, hamburgers, steaks and salads and reliable clam chowder---all delivered by friendly servers. Long hours are a draw in a city where restaurants that are open late are few and far between.
