This is a fine cafeteria-style sandwich and soup spot, with long tables to share. Proprietor Bob Cerrito, who also runs the neighboring Flat Planet Pizza, uses fresh seasonal and regional ingredients as much as possible. His Saturday morning breakfasts are legendary, with made-from-scratch pancakes with real maple syrup purchased from the farmer who taps it, french toast prepared from thick raisin bread, egg-topped corned beef hash and an array of omelets.
