Water Street Brewery Description:
Since 1987, Water Street Brewery has been brewing hand-crafted beers at its Water Street, Milwaukee, location. Its Delafield address offers the same great suds: a Bavarian hefeweizen, an amber, a pale ale, a porter and a couple of lagers. The menus, which contain beer trivia and the brewery's history, prove nearly identical, too: filling burgers and sandwiches, pizzas and interesting entrées like smoked chicken pasta. A favorite is the smoked sausage platter, flavored with Water Street's lager beer, with Usinger smoked beef sausage and smoked link kielbasa that's charbroiled and served with red cabbage, spätzle, house mustard and a fresh roll and butter. Check out the restaurant's historic beer and brewing artifacts on display. And don't forget to take home a growler of beer.
