Always packed, this tiny spot has won the hearts of its neighbors in Preston Hollow. We usually start with the arugula and goat cheese salad with dates and grilled tomatoes and an order of Kobe carpaccio that melts on your tongue. Then it's deciding on one of chef Gilbert Garza's simple yet elegant pastas. The heartier fare is another choice, like duck breast infused with cardamom or the filet served with garlic mashed potatoes. Be sure and ask your server for any specials and leave room for at least one piece of the decadent chocolate truffle cake.
