Blue Goose Cantina, The Description:
If the line of Harleys parked on the sidewalk seems intimidating, remember the riders are the kind with day jobs behind a desk. Hot, freshly made flour tortillas are the hallmark of this hangout and restaurant. The bar and patio area are jammed on weekend days and nights with college and wannabe college-age people happily slurping margaritas. The food is hearty and well made. Portions are large---sharing is the key here. A full order of fajitas easily serves two if not three; nachos drip with cheese and jalapeños, enough for a table of four per order. To take a little jaunt from the Tex-Mex regimen, try the brisket tacos, served with rice, beans and a side of au jus sauce. Or try the goose eggs---deep-fried jalapeño poppers stuffed with cheese and chicken.
