Crua Wine Bar Description:
Crú started life with a small menu of wine-friendly foods but has matured into a full fledged restaurant. Tasting flights are offered in themed groups such as Charming Chardonnays and Sexy Reds along with a list of more than 300 wines available by the bottle. On the food side, seared diver scallops with spinach risotto is a perennial fave as is the beef tenderloin with a classic Gorgonzola and red wine sauce. Sharing plates is the way to go when you're with a group. Medium-crust pan pizzas really hit the spot if you're looking for a quick bite before heading over to see a movie at the theater next door. It's hard to resist the sinful fried Brie with honey and black pepper. A dozen or so artisan cheeses are available in flights with recommended pairings. Servers are generally helpful though if you encounter a novice, do ask to speak to one of the sommeliers on hand.
