Qdoba Description:
This Tex-Mex spot offers a shredded beef burrito that's filled with boldly-flavored meat (yet its accompanying black beans and rice are bland) while the queso burrito is filled with steak and cheese pumped up with roasted poblano peppers. Burritos may also be ordered "naked," with all of the fillings served in a bowl with a warm flour tortilla tucked on the side. Tortilla soup, a rich tomato broth with chunks of avocado and chicken and crispy tortilla strips floating on top, is a standout. The taco salad unleashes shredded Romaine, roasted chile and corn salsa, fat-free picante-Ranch dressing and sour cream in a rounded tortilla shell. Cheesy quesadillas with steak or chicken are also on the menu, as are nachos, Mexican gumbo and guacamole.
