Co-owners Khoa Nguyen and Nancy Patterson's refined Vietnamese cuisine endeavors to celebrate the Deep Ellum community itself. Executive chef Tuyet Davis, formerly of East Wind restaurant, bolsters the reincarnated space with a fresh, exciting menu. House specialties include grilled steak spring rolls, coconut milk curries, shrimp and scallop crêpes, sushi and flat rice noodle dishes. Located across the street from a music venue and art gallery, perhaps one of the restaurant's most desirable designations is the free parking lot---a rare commodity in the area. But we also appreciate the back patio, extensive wine list and formidable beer roster.
