O'Shaughnessy's Public House Description:
An authentic Irish pub that celebrates the history and culture of the Irish and offers authentic Irish pub food including Dam Good Fish and Chips, Corned Beef Hash and Grafton Grilled Salmon. O'Shaughnessy's Dam Good Ale is brewed for the locally-owned restaurant. Reservations accepted on Arena non-event days.
Imposing, dark wooden fixtures and a quintessential Irish bar alone make this place worth a visit. But this Arena District pub offers a decidedly lighter, brighter, more colorful atmosphere than you might expect on this side of the pond. Irish food favorites fill the menu, whether it's lunchtime fare like the mixed field greens with a honey malt vinaigrette and golden whiskey raisins, or classic corned beef on rye. Sure, heftier choices come in the form of corned beef hash and fish 'n' chips. But there are surprises on the menu as well, like mac 'n' cheese, shell pasta in a smoked four-cheese blend with crab meat, bacon, scallions and tomatoes, topped with shredded Parmesan and seasoned breadcrumbs. The pub is open Sundays when there are special events scheduled at Nationwide Arena.
