Located in the Bexley Square where College Ave dead-ends into Main St.
The chef at Bexley Monk is creative enough to offer linguine Diablo (sautéed chicken, Dijon cream sauce, crushed red pepper and Parmesan) and conservative enough to feature time-honored combinations like crab cakes with rémoulade and pork ribs with barbecue sauce. He gives considerable attention to designer pizzas and a variety of pastas, and you should, too---try the version with Apulia marinara, caramelized onion, eggplant, portobellos and goat and Parmesan cheeses. To end a meal, try the pochettes---vanilla mascarpone turnovers served warm with Grand Marnier berry sauce. The décor features dark woods around the considerable bar area and warm tones elsewhere. The wine list has a variety of selections and prices.
