We stopped in at the BoatHouse recently and we were blown away! The new owners have brought in professional chefs, and everything was out of this world. You can cut the steaks with a butter knife, and the food is so perfectly seasoned, you do not need to add a thing. In fact, you won't find a salt or pepper shaker in this restaurant. The seafood is the best I have ever had in the Midwest. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive and a lot of fun. Just a delightful experience. Word of mouth has been good -- we had to wait an hour for a table -- in February! This is the best kept secret in Coldwater!
