Decided to try this newly renovated inn and was pleasantly surprised with how nice the place was. I've stayed in a couple of the roadside hotels down closer to the freeway, but the short drive up the hill to Celilo Inn was totally worth it. The desk person was really nice, gave me some tips on where I should take my bike out for a ride. Ended up cycling down to the Riverfront walk and rode to the other end of town and back before heading out for dinner. The room was really nice--the sheets were super soft, the mattress was really comfortable, and the view in the morning was spectacular. I don't normally comment on such things, but I really liked the soap--it's the little things that you notice sometimes, you know? I found the room super comfortable and clean and the staff very friendly. Top notch place.
