Smashburger Description:
Touted as "Every City's Favorite Burger Place," Smashburger has some catching up to do in Boise. The ambience is sterile, the tables in need of attention, and the burgers simply average, although there are several contemporary selections including the Spicy Baja burger with pepperjack cheese, guacamole, jalapeños and chipotle mayo, as well as a seared chicken breast. Two menu highlights are the Smashfries tossed with olive oil, rosemary, garlic and other spices and the Häagen Dazs ice cream shakes. Another plus is the waitstaff's kindness and efficiency. However, if you are looking for a burger experience that'll pop your button off, check out Boise's own Five Guys or Big Jud's.
