Fleming's Prime Steakhouse Description:
Dark wood and soft lighting make Fleming's a comfortable space to sit back and enjoy a relaxed meal. The chefs cut fresh Prime aged beef each day and serve it up seared to keep the steaks juicy. There's a good selection, including a prime rib dinner on Sundays. Non-carnivorous sorts may opt for barbecued Scottish salmon or Alaskan king crab legs. Sides are big enough to share, and we like the Fleming's potatoes with jalapeños and cheddar, sautéed or creamed spinach and the chipotle cheddar mac 'n' cheese. The 100-choice wine-by-the-glass list is a plus. If choosing becomes too difficult, opt for a flight of three two-ounce pours. There is an additional reserve wine list by the bottle. There's a "5 for $6 'til 7" bar menu with five selections each of appetizer, cocktail or glass of wine for six dollars before 7 p.m. Dessert offerings include frozen lemon gingersnap pie and walnut turtle pie. The chocolate lava cake is a perennial favorite.
