Z Tejas Grill Description:
Part of an upscale chain, this is the only Z'Tejas in Washington. Its terrific location in the heart of Bellevue's shopping and entertainment district makes it more of a convenient dining option than a destination. The Southwestern-inspired menu features above-average classics such as a spicy chile rellenos, enchiladas, and tender pork chile verde. For something more sophisticated, try the blackened tuna with peppercorn vinaigrette and spicy soy mustard or crispy fried catfish beignets with jalapeño tartar sauce. Cornbread is served in a mini-skillet with whipped butter. Happy hour is happy indeed, with half-price appetizers---such as barbecue ribs and bargain margaritas.
