Las Palmas Mexican Resteraunt Description:
Las Palmas in Spanish for "the palms." The first Las Palmas was opened several years ago on Sherwood Forest, and -- according to their web site -- "immediately stood out from the others with our choice of only the freshest of ingredients and unique dining atmosphere." They go on to say that, "Las Palmas on Jefferson hwy. is undoubtedly one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants in Louisiana, with everything from gorgeous handpainted murals to traditional Mexican architecture"
Note: Tuesday Night is Family Night at Las Palmas. Kids 12 and under eat free from children's menu when accompanied by an adult ordering an entree. (Two kids per adult, dine in only.) Wednesday is Margarita Night.
