The Himalayas Description:
The Himalayas serves Indian food with a flair toward Nepali specials. Meat dishes such as Momo, Kothe with ground meat, Khashi, Chili Chicken, Chhwela, Sekuwa, and other Indian standards such as curries, vindaalo, chicken tikka masala, and korma. A long (for Baton Rouge) menu of vegetarian entrees includes kurilo, aalu bodi taama, Katahar, saag aalu, daal saag, and kothi with chopped vegetables.
Save room for the unique dessert specials as well, such as the gulab jaamun, rasmalai, juju dhau, or the homemade Indian ice cream.
Prices are reasonable, between $8-10 for entrees.
