Petit Louis Bistro Description:
The Charleston crew has done it again. They've gone and opened a restaurant that's risen to the top of its class in the blink of an eye. This time, however, it's as good as a trip to your favorite Parisian wine bar, complete with confit de canard, coquilles St. Jacques and steak frites. (For a good deal, try the $20 prix-fixe lunch.) And, as you'd expect from the team of Cindy Wolf and Tony Foreman, the interior, too, is something to rave about: an artful re-creation of a French bistro, from the bright lights of its three-globe lamps to the solid thunk of its marble-topped tables. The wine list is terrific, sporting more than 100 bottles of intriguing French wine.
