Pazza Luna Description:
In a former incarnation, this cozy little trattoria on an out-of-the-way Locust Point corner was devoted to the love of garlic and Frank Sinatra. Frankie, like founder Kim Acton, is pretty much out of the picture these days; the "Crazy Moon" is now in the capable hands of chef Davide Rossi and his wife and co-owner Christa. The chef, a native of Milan, has given Pazza Luna a new menu of Italian classics, with an emphasis on Northern fare (risottos are a specialty) but it has also included contributions from other regions on the peninsula. Pastas are, of course, homemade---but garlic is kept to a minimum. One thing that hasn't changed is the swoony décor. The first-floor dining room features a moon-and-stars theme, so expect to see lots of romance-minded couples among visitors and neighborhood folk.
