La Vieille Fontaine Description:
The cool, shaded courtyard, graced by a mossy fountain, is the place to dine on a summer's night; the rose and white dining room, stuffed with antiques and landscape paintings, is a bit short on charm for some tastes. Bruno d'Angelis offers a Provençal cuisine to which he adds his own little spark of originality. He exercises a regional simplicity in preparing dishes like broccoli velouté, duck fillet and foie gras, cod spiced with thyme and lemon grass oil, and Calvados apple pastilla. Service for a king. Magnificent cellar, but don't bother looking for bargains.
