Radial Cafe Description:
Now claiming "Green Restaurant" status, Radial has expanded to accommodate its patrons. Neighborhood denizens favor it especially for weekend brunch. Big slices of french toast dusted with powdered sugar might be the best dish, especially with either pure maple syrup or a house-made fruit sauce (perhaps strawberry and rhubarb). Over-easy eggs come on a curious corned beef hash (there's also a turkey version) that's so chunky it could best be described as chunked corned beef, barely relieved by the potatoes, onions and red peppers that are spotted here and there among the pieces. Weekday menus focus more on sandwiches. Vegetarians and vegans alike are warmly attended. The place closes at 3:30 p.m., but will cater dinner (as well as lunches).
