This quirky spot serves breakfast all day until it closes at 3 p.m., so you can get up late and still get into eggs or biscuits and gravy. Inventive sandwiches---how 'bout a Reuben made from tempeh?---can be paired with a side salad. The homemade soups are first-rate, and each day features a different hot lunch special, but better come early for that as it goes quickly. Breakfast is mainly egg dishes, although vegetarians will find soy-based dishes there as well, such as country-fried tempeh with tomato gravy. Brunch adds specials to the breakfast offerings. Coffees are fair-trade.
