Eve Description:
In downtown Ann Arbor's trendy Kerrytown, with its brick streets and historic buildings, chef Eve Aronoff owns and operates her signature restaurant. It's known for its adherence to the philosophy of French cookery---almost all items are house-made and draw from local produce. Dishes have included beef tenderloin topped with caramelized onions and warmed Stilton and served with port-macerated dried fruit and a miniature sorrel-scented potato croqueta as well as heritage pork shank that's braised with North African spices, served over a warm lentil broth and garnished with mint and a dollop of crème fraîche. Save room for desserts like the Parisienne macaroon dégustation---chestnut, Mexican chocolate and espresso varieties accompanied with almond rose ice cream---while enjoying the vibe of this restored factory with exposed brick walls and gleaming hardwood floors.
